Summit, the online retailing specialist, and Forecasters owner, today announces it has appointed Martin Corcoran to the newly created role of Head of insight consulting. Martin, previously at Dunnhumby, will be responsible for further developing Summit’s proposition for insight consulting through retail needs.
This hire further reinforces Summit’s commitment to insight and data led retailing strategies, as well as significantly strengthening its focus on customer centric digital marketing. Martin’s role will be to connect the data and insight that Summit generates through its team of data scientists with actionable advice, solutions and consultancy for Summit’s clients.
Martin will immediately take a lead role working with Summit’s client base of retailers and brands including Argos, Homebase, Selfridges and Peugeot to transform the way they trade online. Providing consultancy, delivery and technology solutions, such as its marketing intelligence platform Forecaster, Martin will be instrumental in ensuring Summit continues to revolutionise the way its clients approach digital commerce, unlocking greater sales and performance across online channels.
Martin was at Dunnhumby for over seven years, most recently as health and beauty category director of communications and media for the Tesco UK market. There he was responsible for developing new ways of working including customer driven plans using data led insights, as well as delivering seven-figure revenues for Dunnhumby.
